Dr Mark Leiser has a PhD in law, is a prolific researcher on deceptive design, and has published several academic works. He welcomes enquiries about expert witness services in deceptive design.
His critical work and views have been used by the European Commission, the Unfair Commercial Practices Directive Team at the EC, the OECD, and various consumer groups.
In 2023-24, Dr Leiser's work was presented at Consumer Protection Day in Madrid to the consumer protection authorities of the European Union, Ofcom in the UK, the Consumer and Markets Authority in the UK, several professional privacy groups, and at the Nobel Prize Summit.
